this site collects information about music concerts local to michigan, with a focus on the southeast michigan DIY scene (because that is where i live). most information available here describes local bands, but some shows listed include larger bands from out of state. it is common for these shows to have local openers, and people interested in local music usually like other music, too.

i have a particular interest in folk punk, hardcore, and ska shows, so i put more effort into listing them. i'll list anything you submit, though, as long as it's really happening.
